Born in Brooklyn, raised on weddings, and now happily based in Chester, NY — Pizza Moto is a woman-owned, wood-fired pizza catering company. We lovingly tote our hand-built (and quite patina-ed) oven over the Hudson Valley, the Catskills, back home to Brooklyn, and just about anywhere in between, so we can bring the (pizza) party right to you.
Yes, like a pizza truck — only better. We trailer a hand-built wood-fired oven to your venue and set up a proper outdoor kitchen under tents, cooking real Neapolitan-style pizza to order at 900°F. No pre-baked slices reheated through a window. Same convenience, different league.
Wedding catering is the heart of what we do — backyard ceremonies, barn receptions, all-night affairs. Wood-fired pizza as the centerpiece, or as one piece of a larger Italian-inspired feast with antipasti, salads, and seasonal sides.
You might call us high/low, in fact, we kinda consider ourselves chameleons of the catering world. We've cooked a black-tie Hudson Valley estate wedding and a 30-person Brooklyn backyard birthday in the same week, and both got our full attention.
From our home base in Chester, NY, we cover the Hudson Valley like locals — Orange County is our backyard, and most of our wedding catering happens within about 90 minutes of us. We still come down to Brooklyn most weekends, because that's where Pizza Moto was born and where some of our favorite venues still are.
