Pizza Moto is a woman-owned, wood-fired pizza catering company based in Chester, NY — right in the middle of Hudson Valley wedding country. We lovingly tote our hand-built (and quite patina-ed) oven to weddings, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, and the kind of (pizza) party your guests will be talking about a year later.
What "based in Chester" actually means for your day
Most caterers serving Hudson Valley weddings are driving in from the city or up from northern Jersey, adding real travel time and travel fees to your invoice. We're not. From Chester, most of the venues we serve are 45 minutes to 90 minutes away — north into Putnam and lower Dutchess, west into Sullivan, south into Rockland and Westchester. Less travel on the invoice, and an oven that's loaded, fired, and ready well before your guests arrive.
Where we cook in the Hudson Valley
Our sweet spot — the towns and venues we serve most often:
- Orange County — Warwick, Goshen, Middletown, Newburgh, Tuxedo Park, and our hometown of Chester. Local for us.
- Rockland County — Sloatsburg (Kris's neighborhood), Suffern, and the surrounding farm and estate venues.
- Putnam & lower Dutchess — Beacon, Cold Spring, Garrison. We've cooked many a Glynwood wedding.
- Westchester — Bedford, Purchase, and the country-club and estate scene.
- Just over the line — Ramsey, NJ (about 30 min) and Greenwich, CT (about 1.5 hr) are well inside our range.
We also regularly serve Rhinebeck, Hyde Park, Millbrook, the southern Catskills / Sullivan County, and Accord (hello, Arrowood Farms). For venues farther afield — Hudson, Saugerties, Tannersville, Livingston Manor, New Lebanon — we still say yes when it's the right fit, especially for couples and venues we already love.

If your venue isn't on this list, ask anyway. We're on the road most weekends, April through November.
What a Hudson Valley wedding with us looks like
We arrive a few hours before service. The mobile oven gets fired with real hardwood — no gas, no shortcuts — and by the time the ceremony is winding down, it's at 900°F and ready. Each Neapolitan-style pizza cooks in about 90 seconds. We can put out 50 pizzas an hour from a single oven, more with two.
