Pizza Moto is a woman-owned, wood-fired pizza catering company based in Chester, NY — close enough to the Catskills that we're up there most weekends from spring through fall, and far enough to know which roads to take when. We lovingly tote our hand-built (and quite patina-ed) oven up the Thruway, set up a proper outdoor kitchen under tents, and cook real Neapolitan-style pizza at 900°F, on site, to order. Like a pizza truck — only better.

Here's what we actually are: a mobile, hand-built, wood-fired oven trailered to your venue, where we run a real kitchen — wood, fire, dough we made that morning. No pre-baked slices reheated through a window. Same convenience, different league.

What a Catskills wedding with us looks like

We arrive a few hours before service and get the oven up to temperature — real hardwood, no gas, no shortcuts. By the time the ceremony's winding down, it's at 900°F and ready. Each Neapolitan-style pizza cooks in about 90 seconds, and we can put out 50 pizzas an hour from a single oven, more with two.

Your guests get to watch it happen, and that's kind of the whole point. A wedding has plenty of choreographed moments; the wood-fired pizza station feels more like a backyard, which is what people actually remember.

Where we cook in the Catskills

We cover the eastern and southern Catskills most often — the towns and venues we serve regularly:

  • Accord — Arrowood Farms is one of our favorite venues anywhere. The hop fields, the barn, the whole vibe. We feel at home there.
  • Southern Sullivan County — the rolling western Catskills, farm venues, the new Catskills wedding scene that's grown up around Livingston Manor and Callicoon. We're in.
  • Ulster County more broadly — Woodstock, Saugerties, Phoenicia, the venues tucked into the eastern Catskills. We say yes when it's the right fit.
  • Greene County — Tannersville, Hunter, and the venues clinging to the mountain. Hotel Lilien is a regular for us.
  • Hudson and the Hudson River side — Basilica Hudson and the wider Hudson scene. Technically Columbia County, but it's part of the same upstate weekend.

You might call us high/low, in fact we kinda consider ourselves chameleons of the catering world. We've cooked a black-tie estate wedding and a 60-person Catskills backyard dinner in the same weekend, and both got our full attention. Real wood, real fire, real dough we made that morning, real plates when the day calls for them.

Most of our Catskills weddings are a 60–90 minute drive each way for us — close enough that we arrive fresh, with hours to set up. We're not driving in from the city. Less travel on the invoice. An oven that's loaded, fired, and ready well before your guests show.

Pricing

Our menus start at $22/guest, and most weddings come in at a $5,000+ investment when all is said and done. Catskills weddings vary on logistics — venue access, road in, equipment fees — so the easiest path to a real number is to tell us where and when. We'll come back fast.
