MEET BETSY AND KRIS

In 2001, we met as young, wet-behind-the ears, but nonetheless very passionate, NYC cooks and wound up forging our friendship in the flames of one of the city’s most cut-throat kitchens at the time. Almost 25 years later, we hosses are elated to be at the helm together at Pizza Moto.

We can’t nor shan’t claim credit for birthing this beautiful beast, though - for that we tip our pizzaiolo hats to Pizza Moto’s founder and mastermind, Dave Sclarow. Dave actually built his first oven in order to cook for Betsy’s backyard wedding in 2008 yada yada yada - take from one of the articles for brief wording?
